SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Mary Jane Thompson of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Robert Kriete will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:30 a.m.

Thompson, 64, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1994, at Sikeston Health Care Center.

She was born May 29, 1930, at Ellsinore, daughter of James and Addie Graham Blue. She and Francis E. "Tommy" Thompson were married Feb. 10, 1947. He died May 5, 1992.

Thompson was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Tom Thompson of Sikeston; a daughter, Mona Toney of New Madrid; a brother, Rubert Blue of Waterloo, Ill.; a sister, Pauline Privett of California, Mo., and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
