ADVANCE -- Mary Irene Stone, 74, of Advance, died Friday, May 5, 1995, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter. She was born July 17, 1920, in Madge, Okla., daughter of Dolph and Nevada Williams Rhodes. She first married Elmer Rauls, who preceded her in death. She later married James Stone, who died July 14, 1981...

ADVANCE -- Mary Irene Stone, 74, of Advance, died Friday, May 5, 1995, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.

She was born July 17, 1920, in Madge, Okla., daughter of Dolph and Nevada Williams Rhodes. She first married Elmer Rauls, who preceded her in death. She later married James Stone, who died July 14, 1981.

Stone attended Brush Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Stone of Advance, Frankie Stone of state of California; a daughter, Elra Hammond of Zalma; a brother, Woodrow Rhodes of McGee; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, daughter, brother and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Sargent officiating. Burial will be in New Hope McGee Cemetery.

There is no visitation.
