POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Mary Christine Harris, 82, of Park Hills, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, July 28, 2001, at Claru Deville Nursing Home in Fredericktown, Mo. She was born March 17, 1919, at Arab, Mo. She and Roger J. Harris were married April 9, 1938. He died Aug. 31, 1990...

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Mary Christine Harris, 82, of Park Hills, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, July 28, 2001, at Claru Deville Nursing Home in Fredericktown, Mo.

She was born March 17, 1919, at Arab, Mo. She and Roger J. Harris were married April 9, 1938. He died Aug. 31, 1990.

Harris retired from the family shoe business. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.

Survivors include a son, Jim Harris of Chaffee, Mo.; a daughter, Carol Mungle of Fredericktown; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Cotrell Funeral Home after 1 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Dr. William Vail will officiate. Burial will be in City Cemetery.
