Mary Lou Gibson, 78, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 13, 1932, in Commerce, Mo., to Walter and Lucille Sanders McCarty.
Her places of employment included the former Farmers and Merchants Bank, the former Marquette Cement Plant and Missouri State Disability Office, all in Cape Girardeau.
Loving survivors include three grandsons, Dennis Gibson II, Shane (Jamie) Gibson and Jason Gibson, all of Cape Girardeau; a great-grandson, Chase; and two great-granddaughters, Jazmine and Delaney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denist Gibson (February 2008); a son, Dennis Gibson (December 2009); and a brother, Wade McCarty.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
