MARY FRANCES PATRICIA BEATTY

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Mary Frances Patricia Beatty, 76 years old, of 2106 Sherwood, died Thursday night, Dec. 27, 1990, at St. Luke's Emergency Medical Center in Solon, Ohio from injuries received in an automobile accident at Solon.

She was born March 17, 1914, in St. Louis, daughter of Joseph and Mary Daly.

She married Clare Beatty Dec. 24, 1937, in Detroit, Mich. He died May 12, 1976.

She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Pi Beta Phi, PEO Chapter FY, the Quest Club, and St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary, where she tutored pediatric patients after her retirement.

She was a retired school teacher, having taught 25 years, including 13 at Central Junior High School. She graduated from the University of Michigan and did graduate work at Southeast Missouri State University.

Survivors are sons, Dr. Joe Beatty, Carvallis, Ore., and Dan Beatty, Belleville, Ill.; a daughter, Mary Pat Meade, Chagrin Falls, Ohio; a sister, Elizabeth Drury, Indianapolis, Ind.; and a number of grandchildren.

Arrangements, which will be handled by Ford and Sons Funeral Home, will be announced late this week.
