Mary Janice Criddle Marlin Fadden, 82, of Sterling, Ill., died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at Rock Falls Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Rock Falls, Ill.
She was born July 26,1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William and Verda Stroder Criddle. She and Wayne Fadden were married June 9, 1984, in Rock Falls.
Mrs. Fadden was a teacher at Dillon School.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Diane (Leonard) Gilliland of Robertsville, Mo., Jo Dawn Lehman of Rock Falls, Lesha (Felipe) Ranjel of Houston, Texas, Sheila (David) Clardie of Bad Axe, Mich.; three sons, Brady (Nancy) Marlin of Faribault, Minn., Don (Edna) Fadden of Fort Wayne, Ind., Neale (Betty) Fadden of Collinsville, Ill.; two brothers, James W. (Doris) Criddle of Whitewater, Dewey (Joyce) Criddle of Rock Falls; 23 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Criddle.
Friends may call at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Friends may also call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to service time Sunday.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
