MARY E. MYERS

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Mary Evelyn Myers of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Mike Johnson will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Myers, 44, died Monday, Feb. 27, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, following an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 31, 1950, in Missouri, daughter of Roscoe E. and Ruth Childers Couch. She married Larry Joe Myers, who died April 12, 1986.

Myers attended Full Gospel Church.

Survivors include her common-law husband, Harley Wheatley of East Prairie; a son, Paul Wheatley of the home; four daughters, Mary Myers of Sikeston, Fay Myers and Sabrina Gunter of East Prairie, LaRonza Wheatley of the home; her mother of East Prairie; a brother, William Couch of East Prairie, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
