CHARLESTON -- Funeral Mass for Mary Bea Burton of Charleston will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Henry Catholic Church. The Rev. Rich Lause will officiate. Private burial will be Saturday in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 3:30-6:30 p.m. today.
McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
Burton, 73, died Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Columbus, Ky., daughter of Felix and Lula Vaughn Clinton. She and Raymond Burton were married April 20, 1946. He died May 2, 1985.
Burton lived in Charleston most of her life. She was a custodian at Citizens Bank, retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Henry Church, Daughters of Isabella, and Legion of Mary.
Survivors include a son, Joe Burton of Charleston; three daughters, Lou Harper of Bertrand, Theresa Stephenson and Bonnie Scheffer of Charleston; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
