Mary Burger

Mary Elizabeth Burger, 96, of Scott City died Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at her home.

She was born Sept. 23, 1926, in Delta to Marvin and Lucille Woolsey Crader. She married Ralph August "Sheeney" Burger Sr. on Dec. 19, 1947. He preceded her in death April 22, 2016.

Mary was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell, and a graduate of Fornfelt (Missouri) High School.

She is survived by four sons, Ralph (Delores) Burger Jr., Michael Burger and Mark Burger of Scott City and Brad Burger of Hiram, Missouri; a daughter, Diane Moore of Scott City; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

There will be no services.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
