MORLEY, Mo. -- Mary Ann Alcorn, 76, passed away at 5:15 a.m. Feb. 14, 2009.

Born April 24, 1932, in Sikeston, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Bennie and Esther Kruger Walker.

On June 29, 1947, in Osceola, Ark., she married C.D. Alcorn Sr., who survives of the home.

She worked in the real estate business with her husband more than 40 years and was a member of the Morley Baptist Church more than 50 years.

Besides her husband, survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Denny and Kim Alcorn of Morley; two grandsons, Cody Alcorn of Greenville, S.C., and Trey Alcorn and his wife, Erika, of Gardner, Kan.; a granddaughter, Kinley Alcorn of Morley; a great-grandson, Trevor Cole Alcorn of Gardner; a great-stepgranddaughter, Ava, of Gardner; a very special friend and mother of Cody and Trey Alcorn, Mary Lynn Alcorn of Sikeston; a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Bearl Breedlove of Louisville, Ky.; and a sister-in-law, Jolene Walker of Sikeston.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Stancil and Mildred Wills, and two brothers, Randy Walker and Bennie Walker Jr.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. A close friend, Dr. Ralph Buckley of Dyersburg, Tenn., will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.

Pallbearers will be Cody Alcorn, Ben Alcorn, Sonny Alcorn, Michael McDonald, Brian Taylor and Paul Taylor.
