MARY A. EVERS

MOUNDS -- Mary A. Evers, 90, of Mounds, died Monday, July 22, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 6, 1905, in Villa Ridge, Ill., daughter of the late Tom and Nellie Rendleman Donovan.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mounds and the Smiles Senior Citizens Center in Mounds.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Don C. and Elaine Evers, of Carbondale, Ill.; two granddaughters and their husbands, Gail and Billy Herring, of Wake Forest, N.C., and Donna and Dan Bowling, of Cape Girardeau; two great-granddaughters, Beth Ann Bowlin and Laura Gail Bowlin, both of Cape Girardeau; and one sister-in-law, Ruth Evers, of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Evers in 1969.

Friends may visit after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds with Rev. F. Jerry Herring officiating. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
