BENTON -- Marvin Glyn Ferrell Sr., 81, of Benton died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 2, 1914, at Dogwood, son of E.E. and Mary Velda Alley Ferrell. He and Florence Hooper were married Sept. 16, 1933, at Charleston.
Ferrell owned Ferrell Mobile Home Park in Benton. He was the former owner of Ferrell Mobile Homes in Benton.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Marvin "Glyn" Ferrell Jr. of Benton; two daughters, Mary Jo Dirnberger of Cape Girardeau and Ann Beggs of Benton; five brothers, Galen Ferrell of Charleston, Earl Ferrell of Sikeston, Tom Ferrell of East Prairie, Bartley Ferrell of Benton and Paul David Ferrell of Wahpeton, N.D.; a sister, Imogene Elliott of Louisville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, a sister, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Benton.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Unity Baptist Church in Benton. The Rev. Dale Huff will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley.
