He was born Jan. 12, 1930, and married Roberta E. Grossheider on June 6, 1953.

Martin was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the Trinity Men's Club. Martin served in the Army during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Over the years, his servant attitude benefited family and friends, using his carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills to build houses, perform light remodeling construction, electrical wiring and plumbing repairs. He and Roberta had two sons, Keith and Karl. Martin and Roberta traveled the United States extensively over the years, and Martin was keen to explore the less-traveled paths, which led to numerous adventures.

Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Alma Siemers Robinson; his wife, Roberta; sister, Doris Snider; and brother Gerald Robinson.
