MARTIN J. BRUMMER

Martin J. Brummer, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, May 1, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.

He was born April 6, 1904, at Leopold, the son of Bernard and Francis Van Doren Brummer. On July 27, 1935, he marred Dora L. Frueh, who preceded him in death.

He was a leather inspector for International Shoe Co. for 43 years, retiring in 1967. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau and the Cape Girardeau Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5:30-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, where parish prayers are at 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cathedral. Monsignor Richard Rolwing will officate, and burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
