Martha Sue Millikan, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1912 at Corsicana, Texas, daughter of James A. and Tommie Sue Breckeen Waller. She and Homer E. Millikan were married at Illmo June 14, 1936. He preceded her in death March 23, 1996.
Millikan was a homemaker. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. She attended Southeast Missouri State Teachers College for three years, where she was a member of Sorosis Literary Society, which is now the Alpha Chi Omega Society.
She was active in Brownies and Girl Scout work and was a member of the Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary and Tuesday Club MFWC.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Sue Wright of Cape Girardeau, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Family can arrive at 3 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. James Sanderson will officiate with burial to follow at Memorial Park.
