MARTHA GRINDSTAFF

PATTON, Mo. -- Martha A. Grindstaff, 82, of Patton died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Jackson Manor in Jackson, Mo.

She was born March 6, 1918, at Patton, daughter of Robert Edward and Callie Yount Presnell. She and Reagan Grindstaff were married Nov. 12, 1938. He died Nov. 23, 1996.

Grindstaff was retired from Brown Shoe Co. She was a member of Union Light Freewill Baptist Church near Marquand, Mo.

Survivors include two sons, James Grindstaff of Marble Hill, Mo., Doyle Grindstaff of Patton; a daughter, Wanda Cluck of Farmington, Mo.; a brother, the Rev. Paul Presnell of Patton; two sisters, Maimie Moyers of Patton, Geraldine Green of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vernon Long officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
