Martha Castleman

FLORISSANT, Mo. -- Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Martha Jean Castleman passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2018.

She was the wife of the late Jerry Castlelman; dear mother and mother-in-law of Steven (Angela) Castleman, Theresa (Ron) Goebel and Felicia (James) Pestka; dear grandmother of Kenneth Castleman, U.S. Marine Corps, Jakob (Della, U.S. Navy) Castleman, U.S.M.C., Kelli Kinnamon, Christina Kinnamon, Matthew Pestka and Christopher Pestka; sister of LeeAnna Chambers, Leon DuMay, Raymond Dumey and LaVerne Leible; and dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Martha enjoyed the hobbies of tole painting, cake decorating, volunteering at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church and DePaul Health Center and spending time at her grandchildren's activities, and she loved spending time with her family. She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hutchens Mortuary and Cremation Center, 675 Graham Road in Florissant.

A procession from the funeral home to St. Ferdinand Church, 1765 Charbonier Road in Florissant, will begin at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, with funeral Mass beginning at 10 a.m. Service concludes at the church.

Memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
