DEXTER -- Marshall "Jack" Lang, 79, of Dexter died Monday, Dec. 23, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 17, 1917, at Dearfield, Mich., son of Silas and Rhoda Haley Lang.
Lang lived in California, where he worked for Southern California Edison Co. He moved to Missouri in 1972 and worked for the Sikeston Power Plant until retirement in 1984. He then moved to Dexter.
He married Rema Musgrave Norden at Dexter on Sept. 5, 1980. She survives.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Michigan and a member of the Scottish Rite in St. Louis. He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Pogue of Noel, Mo., and Jane Norden of Russellville, Ky.; and five grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Watkins &n Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Rick Broadway officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
