Marques DuBose

Marques L. DuBose, 43, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Doctors Hospital West in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born Aug. 3, 1961, in Youngstown, Ohio, son of William and Barbara Scott DuBose Sr. He and Kim A. Pledger were married Oct. 28, 1993.

DuBose was employed at Nordenia USA. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church where he taught Sunday school and was a member of Royal Rangers, and was a member of Mid America Teen Challenge.

Survivors include his wife; mother and stepfather, Barbara and Eddie Carter of Youngstown; stepmother, Maggie DuBose of Youngstown; five brothers, Darrell, William Jr. and Matthew, all of Youngstown, Ronald of Columbus, James of Texas; four sisters, Ronda and Terry of Youngstown, Tina and Toni of New York; six stepsisters, Jackie, Terry, Debra and Gay of Youngstown, Janice of Maryland, and Connie of California.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son.

Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at Grace Evangelistic Temple Church in Youngstown.

The funeral will be at noon Monday at the church.

F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home in Youngstown is in charge of arrangements.
