ST. LOUIS -- Mark Stuart Yanow passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. He was born Sept. 14, 1963, in Long Island, New York, to the late Helen and Arnold Yanow. When he was 2, he and his family moved to California, which he loved. He met and married the late Cindi Jeter and moved to Cape Girardeau in 1994, which he said was the best thing he ever did...

ST. LOUIS -- Mark Stuart Yanow passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, surrounded by family and friends.

He was born Sept. 14, 1963, in Long Island, New York, to the late Helen and Arnold Yanow.

When he was 2, he and his family moved to California, which he loved. He met and married the late Cindi Jeter and moved to Cape Girardeau in 1994, which he said was the best thing he ever did.

Mark is survived by two brothers, Scott and Lance; two sisters, Candy and Bonnie; and his fiance, Leasi McIver.

He will be laid to rest in Wells, Texas, next to his late wife. There will be no funeral.

Memorial contributions are preferred to the Humane Society or Safe Harbor.

Berger Memorial Chapel in St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
