Marjorie M. Wills, 84, of Steel, Mo., formerly of Jackson, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 2, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Fred and Alma Steinhoff Starzinger. She and Harold L. Wills were married July 5, 1949, in Piggott, Ark. He passed away Nov. 15, 1993.
The Wills resided in Chicago until 1972. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1947. She was also a graduate of the American School of Beauty Culture and Cosmetology of Chicago.
She was a receptionist at Motorola Communications and Electronics in Chicago, and in management in the admitting department of Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was a bridal consultant eight years at Precious Memories Bridal in Jackson.
Marjorie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, Concordia Guild, American Legion Auxiliary, Friends of Saint Francis, Bi-State Admitting Managers Association and Jackson Business Women's Association.
She is survived by a brother, Donald L. (Judy) Starzinger of Jackson, and a close friend, David Kelly of Steel.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and Roland Starzinger, and a sister, Geraldine Kassel.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
