ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Funeral for Marjorie L. Miller of Alto Pass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 5-9 p.m. today.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Miller, 80, died Monday, May 22, 2000, at Jackson County Rehab and Care Center.
She was born Dec. 26, 1919, at Wolf Lake, daughter of Noah and Mamie Humphrey Hoyle. She and Wayne L. Miller were married Sept. 5, 1939, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Miller had been a cook at Alto Pass Schools and at Southern Illinois University. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include twin sons, Donny and Davy Miller of Alto Pass; a daughter, Sara Mowery of Mt. Union, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a great-granddaughter, two brothers, and a sister.
