Marjorie Lohman

Marjorie Pauline Lohman, 92, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 11, 1924, in Pocahontas, daughter of Eberhart and Edna Schoen Ruehling. She and Virgil H. Lohman were married Jan. 24, 1946. He preceded her in death Dec. 8, 2005.

Marjorie was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Nelson) Swan of Jackson; a grandson, Chris Buchheit of Jackson; and two sisters, Cleo (Clarence) Douglas of Springdale, Arkansas, and Gleeda Bruhl of Jackson.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Lawrence Bradt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
