Marjorie Josephine Littleton, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Kelso, Missouri, to Nick and Mary Kathryn Mirgeaux Menz. She and Newel J. "Gene" Littleton were married June 19, 1943, at Scott City. He passed away Jan. 16, 2012.
She graduated from Fornfelt High School and attended Stimeile Business College..
She worked for Goodwin-McDowell and Goodwin Motor Co. for 18 years, and retired from Ford Groves in April 1986 after 18 years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
Survivors include her two daughters, Carole Jean Arnzen of Cape Girardeau and Sharon Kathryn (Larry) Freese of Jackson; six grandchildren, Scott Arnzen of Cape Girardeau, Nicole (Mark) Amschler of Perryville, Missouri, Jacki (Brian) Nettleton of Cypress, Texas, Tara (Brian) Clifford of Ladue, Missouri, Kristi (Derrick) Denecke of Columbia, Missouri, and Lindsey Freese Campbell of Bay City, Texas; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Steve Arnzen; three sisters; and five brothers.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Food Pantry or Birthright.
