Marjorie Heffner

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Marjorie Ann Heffner, 82, of Marble Hill passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 30, 1932, in Luverne, Minnesota, daughter of Elmer and Gwynn Williams Erickson.

Survivors include five sons, Larry, Kenneth and Wayne Haffner of Marble Hill, Billy Haffner of Boston, Kentucky, and Alton Heffner of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Barbara Morris of Marble Hill, Susan Haffner of Fruitland, Roberta Legate of Glenallen, Missouri, Bonnie Cagle of Parsons, Tennessee, and Nancy Clifton of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Duane (Kate) Bagley of Minnesota and Arnold (Evelyn) Erickson of Shevlin, Minnesota; six sisters, Lola Eddy of Decatur, Georgia, Mary and Emy Erickson of Clitherall, Minnesota, Theolynn Machenko of Blaine, Minnesota, Pat Beatty of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Diane Erickson of Peyton, Colorado; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alfred Erickson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Randy Poole and Clinton Massa officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
