OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Marjorie L. Brooks, 74, of Olive Branch died Monday, April 28, 1997, at her home. She was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Brookport, daughter of Jessie and Sally Farris Maedaker. She married Silas Brooks, who died in 1991. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Walter of Elgin, Linda Whitfield of Panama City, Fla.; three sons, William Walter III of Elgin, William Walter and Chris Brooks of Olive Branch; a friend, Norman Fisher of Olive Branch; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.. ...

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Andy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pell Cemetery at Brookport.
