MORLEY -- Marion M. Ferrenburg, 79, of Morley died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 19, 1917, in Kewanee, daughter of James Alvin and Maggie O'Bannon Wescoat. She and Lester Eugene Ferrenburg were married in June 1938. He died Sept. 4, 1962...

MORLEY -- Marion M. Ferrenburg, 79, of Morley died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 19, 1917, in Kewanee, daughter of James Alvin and Maggie O'Bannon Wescoat. She and Lester Eugene Ferrenburg were married in June 1938. He died Sept. 4, 1962.

Ferrenburg owned and operated Ferrenburg's Grocery Store from 1952-67. She also had worked at Sunny Hill Nursery in Cape Girardeau and at Burch Food Services in Chaffee. She was a member of Morley Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Alvin Ferrenburg of Morley; a daughter, Mary "Cookie" Ferrenburg of Morley; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today, and Thursday at Morley Baptist Church after 9 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Revs. Jim Matthews and Dennis Cebulak officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
