MARION E. BRENTS

SIKESTON -- Marion E. Brents, 57, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996, at his home.

He was born May 11, 1938, in Cleveland, Ark., son of William Thomas and Zella May Bryant Brents. He and Mary Diane Davis were married Aug. 14, 1981, in Rock Island, Ill.

Brents was a truck driver 20 years with Complete Auto Transit Co. of St. Louis and Fort Wayne, Ind. He was a member of Teamsters Local 414 in St. Louis.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Terry Brents of Columbia, Tommy Brents of St. Louis; a daughter, Paige Brents of Osceola, Ark.; two brothers, Roy Brents of Essex, Bill Brents of Atkins, Ark.; five sisters, Christine McKown and Fay Mullin of Morrilton, Ark., Dean Marcum and Charlotte Kowell of Sikeston, and Dottie King of Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. George Alsup and Mike Quillman officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
