DONGOLA, Ill. -- Marion E. "Bill" Yahn, 55, of Dongola died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1992, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born May 22, 1937, at O'Fallon, the son of Clinton and Myrtle Reiffer Yahn. On May 27, 1990, he married Joyce Burns, who survives of the home.
He was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Other survivors include a son, Marion E. Yahn Jr. of Chaffee, Mo.; two step-sons, Skip Faulkner and Cameron Yahn, both of Dongola; and a sister, Carol Vanderdoz of O'Fallon, Mo.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, where funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. David Oliver will officiate, and burial will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery near Dongola. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Anna.
