SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Marion Caldwell of Sikeston will be held at 3 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, with the Rev. Mike Quillman officiating. Burial will be in Triplett Cemetery near Dexter.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time.

Caldwell, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 1995, at Miner Nursing Center in Miner.

She was born March 10, 1911, in Bridgeton, N.J., daughter of Clarence and Olive Sockwell McCormick. She and George Caldwell were married in November 1947. He died in 1966.

Caldwell had lived in New Jersey until moving to Sikeston in 1974.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Williamson of Sikeston; four grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
