ZALMA -- Marion Adolph Pittman, 89, of Zalma, died Sunday, April 16, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 24, 1905, at Zalma, son of William Robert and Sciota Arthur Pittman. He and Clara Fish were married Nov. 15, 1956, at Zalma.

Pittman was a retired sawmill worker. He was a member and deacon at Balch Chapel Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Rhonda Metcalf of Zalma; two brothers, Willard Pittman of Zalma, Grover Pittman of Alton; a sister, Ruby Randolph of Advance; a grandchild, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastors Ethel Myers and Jack Cathcart officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
