Marilyn Kaye Lankford Lesch, 69, of Delta joined her family in heaven May 13, 2016, at the family home, where she was surrounded by all her loved ones.
She was born Jan. 26, 1947, in Bell City, Missouri, to the late James C. and Mildred Baxter Lankford. She married Hughes Lesch on June 24, 2006, and he survives.
Marilyn was a retired press operator with Chaffee Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee, Missouri. She later retired as a CNA at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of The Church of God in Delta.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters whom she adored, Paula (Kenny) Chapman of Cape Girardeau and Penny (Beth) Lynn of Murray, Kentucky, and her bonus children, two sons, Dennis (Shelly) Lesch of Delta and Ronnie (Heather) Lesch of Jackson, and daughters, Teresa (Danny) Byram of Delta and Sheila (Stan) Gunter of Fruitland; three grandchildren, Korey (Katie) Chapman of Chaffee and Kayla Chapman and Chevy Chapman, both of Cape Girardeau; 12 bonus grandchildren; six bonus great-grandchildren; and six sisters, Leona Lesch of Delta, Nita Bagwell of Cape Girardeau, Lela Jaco of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Sharon Rogers of Piedmont, Missouri, Kathy Razor of Scott City and Elaine Lankford of St. Louis. She was also Ma-Maw of Peppie for 13 years.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.
Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee, with the Rev. Danny Freeland officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.
