Marilyn Jane Chitty, 63, of Cape Girardeau joined the Lord, her family and friends Thursday, April 25, 2013.
She was born March 21, 1950, daughter of Ralph and Eleanor Chitty of Cape Girardeau. Marilyn graduated from Parkview State School, and was an employee of VIP Industries since June 1970. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Marilyn loved to be on the go. She enjoyed all aspects of life including her job, friends, bowling, vacations, and most especially going out to eat.
She lived at Regency Terrace group home with seven of her closest friends, Mary, Jane, Dorothy, Patsy, Vicki, Dennis and Patrick.
Survivors include two nieces, Linda Burnette of Jackson and Pamela Campbell of Seminole, Fla.; two great-nephews, Zachary Burnette and Eric Campbell; and a great-niece, Nicole Campbell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dave Conley officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
