SIKESTON -- Marie Williams, 87, died Thursday, April 10, 1997, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born May 12, 1909, in Kentucky, daughter of W.R. and Dora Binford. She married Fred L. Williams, who died May 28, 1978.

Williams had been a seamstress at Graber's in Sikeston. She was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.

Survivors include a brother, Norris Binford of South Dakota; two sisters, Ina Smith of St. Louis, Helen Hahs of Marble Hill; two stepgranddaughters; five great-stepgrandchildren; and three great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Matthews City Cemetery in Matthews.

Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
