SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Marie Thompson of Sedgewickville, 50, died Friday, June 20, 1997, in an auto accident in Sedgewickville.
She was born Oct. 28, 1946, in Memphis, Tenn., daughter of Ernest L. and Minnie Louise Taylor Herriman. She married James D. Thompson on Jan. 28, 1966. He survives.
Thompson was a member of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church where she taught the Ladies Sunday School Class. She also was the head of the First Place Weight Loss Program, the kitchen committee and nursery of the church.
Survivors include two sons, Shane and Danny Thompson, both of Sedgewickville; a brother, Steve Herriman of Memphis; and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Little Whitewater Baptist Church, with the Revs. Randy Miller, Donny Ford and Dan Upchurch officiating. Burial will be in the Thompson Cemetery near Gordonville.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
