GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Marie Emily James, 79, of Glenallen died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 19, 1924, in St. Louis, daughter of Arthur Christopher Adam and Elizabeth Kinchler Schloer. She and Frederick James were married Feb. 2, 1946. He died March 17, 1979...

GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Marie Emily James, 79, of Glenallen died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at her home.

She was born Oct. 19, 1924, in St. Louis, daughter of Arthur Christopher Adam and Elizabeth Kinchler Schloer. She and Frederick James were married Feb. 2, 1946. He died March 17, 1979.

Survivors include three sons, William James Sr. of Glenallen, Frederick James Jr. of Springfield, Mo., Christopher James of Scopus, Mo.; two daughters, Jacqueline James of Glenallen, Teri Bromley of Granite City, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a great-grandchild.

There is no service.

Liley Funeral Home at Marble Hill, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
