SIKESTON -- Marie G. Jackson, 68, of Sikeston died Monday, March 23, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Born Aug. 16, 1929, she was the adopted daughter of the Rev. SIKESTON -- Marie G. Jackson, 68, of Sikeston died Monday, March 23, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Aug. 16, 1929, she was the adopted daughter of the Rev. Gayle and Evelyn Newbill Jackson.

Jackson was a lifelong resident of this area, and did hometown missionary work. She was a member of Trinity Gospel Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Condron of Springfield; two brothers, Vance Newbill of Centerville, Tenn., William Newbill of Lancaster, Calif.; a sister, Myrtle Goldman of Sikeston; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
