SCOTT CITY -- Marie F. Burger, 85, 215 Forest Drive in Scott City, died Sunday Dec. 25, 1994 at the Cape Girardeau Care Center. She was born March 17, 1909 in Illmo, the daughter of Joseph and Anita Heisserer Enderle. On Aug. 21, 1928 she married Ervin Alexander Burger at Kelso, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1994...

SCOTT CITY -- Marie F. Burger, 85, 215 Forest Drive in Scott City, died Sunday Dec. 25, 1994 at the Cape Girardeau Care Center.

She was born March 17, 1909 in Illmo, the daughter of Joseph and Anita Heisserer Enderle.

On Aug. 21, 1928 she married Ervin Alexander Burger at Kelso, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1994.

Survivors include: two sons, Joseph Burger of Centralia, and Mike Burger of Scott City; two daughters, Ina Essner of Cape Girardeau, and Betty Raines of Scott City; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City and active with the Senior Citizens of Scott City.

Visitation will be after 4:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Pat Wissman officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
