JACKSON, Mo. -- Marie Margarite Delph, 81, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 7, 1920, in Rush Tower, Mo., daughter of John and Mary Devoto Petrein.
She married C.B. Browning Delph Nov. 7, 1940, at Hillsboro, Mo.
She and her husband farmed near Oak Ridge, Mo., moving to Jackson in 1951. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson where she formerly taught Sunday School.
Survivors include her husband, C.B. Delph; a daughter, Mary Folk, of Mehlville, Mo., nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dr. Brian Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
