FRIEDHEIM, Mo. -- Marie Chronister, 66, of Friedheim died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at her home.
She was born Aug. 24, 1939, in St. Louis, daughter of Elmer L. and Anna Harvery Marmon. She and Robert A. Chronister were married July 1, 1961, in St. Louis.
Chronister retired from Perry County Sheriff's Department, where she was chief deputy dispatcher 15 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim, and past member of Missouri Deputy Sheriff's Association.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert Chronister II of Cape Girardeau, Lawrence Chronister of Perryville; a daughter, Lee Ann Phipps of Festus, Mo.; a sister, Carol Roseman of Waterloo, Ill.; a brother, Russell Marmon of High Ridge, Mo.; four half sisters, Mitzie Medley of Scott City, Jeanette Hitler of St. Charles, Mo., Rosetta Whitlock of Bowling Green, Ky., Gerry Arnold of Montana; a half brother, Elmer Marmon of Columbus, Miss.; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 to 8 a.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim, with the Rev. Roger Steinbrucke officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
