Marie Allison

Marie Ann Allison, 72, of Advance, Mo., died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 4, 1934, in Advance, daughter of Charlie and Hazel Devore Jones. She and Billy Lee Allison were married Dec. 6, 1959, in St. Louis. He died April 10, 2007.

Allison was retired from Thorngate LTD in Chaffee, Mo. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Advance and a member of the Advance Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include eight sons, Steven Allison of Herrin, Ill., Bobby Hill of Advance, Billy Dale Allison of Palmer, Alaska, Samuel Allison and Ricky Lee Allison, both of Park Hills, Mo., Terry Hill of Jackson, Tim Hill and Mark Allison, both of Advance; a brother, Charles Jones of Sherman, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Interment will be at Morran Memorial Park in Advance.
