Margie R. Bierschwal, 73, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1918, at Jackson, daughter of Charles and Emma Howard Webb. She and Cecil W. Bierschwal were married Feb. 29, 1936, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 24, 1983...

Margie R. Bierschwal, 73, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Oct. 2, 1918, at Jackson, daughter of Charles and Emma Howard Webb. She and Cecil W. Bierschwal were married Feb. 29, 1936, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 24, 1983.

Bierschwal had worked at Cape Osteopathic Hospital and Maple Crest Nursing Home.

Survivors include four sons, Forrest, William and Danny Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau, Charles Bierschwal of Burfordville; two daughters, Bonnie Macke of Gordonville, Gracie Dennis of Oran; a brother, Bill Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Daisy Strong and Mary Thompson of Cape Girardeau; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Winferd Wren will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
