McCLURE, Ill. -- Marjorie "Margie" Ellen Hill, 97, of McClure passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 29, 1921, in Du Quoin, Illinois, to Lewis and Nina Irland Westerwille. She and Miles Hill were married Nov. 17, 1941. He preceded her in death April 30, 2004.
Margie was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cape Girardeau. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary (Randy) Morgan of McClure; brother, Richard Westerwille of Provo, Utah; six grandchildren, Alicia Gonce, Laura Watts, Amy (Glen) Watts, Sarah Jo Hill (Gualter Reis), Mollie Hill (Bill Ford) and Leah Hill (Josh Booth); nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Miles Hill; son, Russell Dale Hill; a brother; and five sisters.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cape Girardeau, with Gerald Cox officiating.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
