MARGIE DAVIS

SIKESTON -- Margie M. Davis, 57, of Sikeston died Monday, Nov. 9, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 13, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of John Vernon and Helen Virginia Davis Britt. She married Ervin Leonard Davis, who died in 1980.

Davis had been a waitress at the lunch counter of Harris Drug Store.

Survivors include a son, Don Bruster of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Pamela Young of Louisville, Ky.; three brothers, Vernon Britt of Canalou, Harold Britt of LaCenter, Ky., David Britt of Sikeston; three sisters, JoAnn Summers, Sarah Chesmore and Janetta Dowdy of Sikeston; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Arnold officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel Thursday from noon until service time.
