Margaret C. Wilson, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 18, 2002, at her home.
She was born April 12, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of James Edward and Prudence Olive McClard Cotner. She and Charles T. Wilson were married May 18, 1947, in Cape Girardeau.
Wilson had worked at Fischer's Market, Ralph Edwards Sportswear, Brokerage, Florsheim Shoe Co. 28 years, retiring in 1993, and Dixie Cream Donuts.
She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church, its Women's Missionary Union and worked in the church nursery. She was a graduate of Central High School.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kimberly Ann Stewart of Scott City; two brothers, Earl Cotner of Cape Girardeau, Jim Cotner of St. Charles, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
