CHARLESTON -- Margaret Orr, 82, of Charleston, died Friday, Oct. 30, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born July 1, 1910, at McComb, Miss., daughter of Albert and Charlette Rose Mallory. She first married Fred Pettigrew, who preceded her in death. She later married Robert Orr, who also preceded her in death.
Orr lived in Cleveland, Ohio, 50 years, before returning to Charleston in 1987. She was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church and its Mission Board.
Survivors include three brothers, Grayer Mallory of Ullin, Ill., James Mallory of Morley, Mich., Sidney Mallory of Cleveland; three sisters, Arbell Clark of Cleveland, Hattie Henry and Alma Delasham of Charleston; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Church. The Rev. J.L. Posey will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
