Margaret Ann Huebel, 88, of Cape Girardeau went to be with her savior Monday, April 16, 2012, at her home.
She was born Sept. 14, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, to Jesse Albert and Dora Helen McLaughlin Neal. She and Harry Russell Huebel Sr. were married May 30, 1942, at Dexter, Mo. He preceded her in death Nov. 1, 1983.
Margaret graduated from Jackson High School in 1940 and attended Cape Girardeau Business College. She was an in-home child care provider more than 50 years. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church, a former Sunday school teacher more than 25 years and a member of Women's Missionary Union.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Harry R. "Russ" (Kathy) Huebel Jr. of Kingsville, Texas, Kenneth Bruce Huebel of Seattle, Randy (Kaye) Huebel of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Dr. Anne, David, Rachel and Eric Huebel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, L.J. and Jack Neal; and a sister-in-law, Juanita Neal.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Red Star Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Rick Crump officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
