Margaret Eubanks

Margaret Fern Eubanks, 88, of Arnold, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at Woodland Manor Nursing Home in Arnold. She was born Oct. 11, 1916, at Zalma, Mo., daughter of Noah Monroe and Dolly Sherman Abernathy. She and James Melvin Eubanks were married Nov. 13, 1936, in Corning, Ark. He died June 25, 1991...

Margaret Fern Eubanks, 88, of Arnold, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at Woodland Manor Nursing Home in Arnold.

She was born Oct. 11, 1916, at Zalma, Mo., daughter of Noah Monroe and Dolly Sherman Abernathy. She and James Melvin Eubanks were married Nov. 13, 1936, in Corning, Ark. He died June 25, 1991.

Eubanks was affiliated with Jehovah's Witnesses in Sikeston, Mo.

Survivors include a son, James Eubanks of St. Louis; two daughters, Faye Eickmyer of Daytona Beach, Fla., Michele English of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, W.H. Abernathy of Sikeston; a sister, Faye King of Cape Girar-deau; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo. Burial will be in Park Cemetery at Malden.
