JACKSON -- Margaret Ellen Hoffman, 67, of Jackson, died Monday, Feb. 7, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Charleston, daughter of Eddie W. and Frocie L. Smith Pennebaker. She married Arnold W. Hoffman, who died Dec. 26, 1981...

JACKSON -- Margaret Ellen Hoffman, 67, of Jackson, died Monday, Feb. 7, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Charleston, daughter of Eddie W. and Frocie L. Smith Pennebaker. She married Arnold W. Hoffman, who died Dec. 26, 1981.

Hoffman was supervisor 27 years with The Attorneys Title Service Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, VFW Auxiliary to Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau, and Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Auxiliary to Post 158 in Jackson.

Survivors include two brothers, Charles Pennebaker of Dixon, Robbie Pennebaker of Ironton, and a sister, Lala Hendrix of Oak Ridge.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
