Margaret Rogers Davis, 76, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Sikeston Route 1, died Wednesday, June 1, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born May 29, 1918, in Crowder, daughter of Harvey and Eula Page Minner. She and Walter Davis were married July 26, 1986.
Davis had been a telephone operator and also worked as a bookkeeper and assistant for Handy Moore. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a sister, Doris Roberts, Sikeston Route 1; two stepsons, Walter Davis of St. Petersburg, Fla., Barry Davis of Cape Girardeau; a stepdaughter, Shirley Baldwin of Cape Girardeau; 11 stepgrandchildren, and 10 great-stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. Neil L. Stein and Charles E. Buck officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery near Morley.
